Stylish and lightweight. Not powerful, and the dust canister does not shut tightly; I find dust escaping from it while in use. Overall, it is okay; I just use it for my bedroom.

This is a fabulous vacuum. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. It works a treat! My only issue would be that the instruction manual is not entirely clear. It misses a few pieces of information (including the function of a couple of the attachments, and full explanations of how to remove the filter). Luckily the machine stands up to a bit of “trial and error” when it comes to working things out, so no harm done.

We needed to replace our old cordless, and since I already own several Tower products which I’ve been pleased with, started researching what cordless vacuums they offered in their range. We don’t have pets, but chose the Tower VL40 model specifically, because although the battery / power is similar to others in the range, it included more attachments, which make it more useful for our purposes, mostly for use on stairs and upholstery, and daily quick carpet refresh in between main cleaning. Conveniently, it includes a basic wall bracket for use whilst charging, and a swappable brush roller, with 2 included, 1 for carpet, 1 for hard floors, but also a seperate, smaller ‘turbo’ head (perfect for stairs!), with a crevice and upholstery brush, which both store neatly on the vacuum.
We’ve had the cleaner in use for about a month now, and it works perfectly, although depending on carpet, generally need to use the higher power setting. Battery life is fine, and so far as expected, between 20-30 mins depending on power mode, and even with the battery pack, it’s actually super lightweight, so my wife finds it much easier to use too. It all feels very well made and designed, unlike our previous model, and although the canister is smaller, it’s much easier to empty, and clean the all important filter and roller, although it’s anti tangle design works well.
It was a great price, and with the additional guarantee when you register, excellent overall value for money, but more importantly, it works great, so very pleased with our purchase (Ordered direct from Tower’s website)

It is a lovely lightweight vacuum cleaner, which is just what I needed. It vacuums up my long haired cat’s hair using the pet hair tool, plus it is excellent on my laminate flooring. I don’t have a very big home, and the running time after charging is adequate for what I need.

Very Impressed.
I wasn’t expecting the vacuum cleaner to be as good as it is for the price point.
Yes it might not feel as solid as our Dyson but it’s lightweight and easy to use.
The added benefit of the lights are great for highlighting the dust and dirt especially on solid floors.
The motorised head makes light work of collecting dog hairs.
The waste chamber is a good size and simple to empty and clean.
I also like the crevice tools which are extremely well designed and very practicable for daily use.
The battery life is brilliant and way better than any cordless vacuum cleaner I have owned.
It cleans our 3 bedroom house with ease.
When stored the vacuum cleaner stands upright well with the assistance of the included wall bracket.
Another nice touch is the 3 year warranty.
The only gripe is I wish I could find spare filters easily to keep in the house.
